So while I don't really want to think about what I've eaten the last week - it's been out a lot at restaurants with family - this is a really cool visual illustration about what people around the world eat.
It's pretty remarkable to compare quantities of what you'd imagine as developed vs. less developed nations, as well as processed/ packaged foods vs. naturally grown goodies.

wait! i remember watching one in mexico. i just looked for the video and he ate (get ready for this) chapulines and escamoles which are ant larvae and fried crickets, a pig skin and beef snout taco and live bugs that tasted like tutti-frutti ...so he says. keep me updated! =)
