My Kind of Town Chicago is!

Feelin' normal

We're back home, and the same way we started our trip in early 2008 with the pre- and post-flight pictures, for your entertainment, here they are again.

Buenos Aires, Argentina 3
Before: City street in Palermo in Buenos Aires

Chicago, USA 01
After: In front of the Chicago Theater on State Street

As you guessed, it's colder here, which sends my body into fear of the outside, but there's no denying how great Chicago is.  Frank Sinatra had it right.  You can sing along with him in your head:

And each time I roam, chicago is
Calling me home, chicago is
Why I just brim like a cload
Its my kind of town

It's all so true for me.  I grew up in and around Chicago, and no matter how much time I spend away, nothing else feels as ideal as Chicago.  The lake grounds me, and the towers send me dreaming into the sky.  There are amazing restaurants, fantastic architecture, theater, and exciting politics.  :)

It always feels to great to be back, even if it's just for a few weeks.  There's just so much to love.

I also enjoyed comparing these photos to the first before/after ones (60 degrees of separation). Gotta admit, you guys look all tan and healthy now!

Chicago loves you as much as you love it!! :)
