Postcard Perfect Beaches: Bocas del Toro, Panama

Feelin' happy
So I hate to rub it in, well with fall coming and all. Leaves changing, cold coming. But we're in a beautiful place.
Feelin' happy
Bocas del Toro, Panama to be precise. We stayed on an island called Bastimentos for two nights taking in the slow pace of life, and the smallness of it all.

the only sidewalk on the island, and yes, there are no cars here
A solid 45 minute walk from our hotel are beaches. Some of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen in my life and they were practically deserted.

walking between beaches
As so many have written on postcards sent, wish you were here.

ohhhh yeah!!!!!!!
If I were you, I'd go between Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica & Bocas del Toro. Great beaches - not tons of spanish speaking there though! Miss you!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome. I truly DO wish I was there!! The water looks so clear too... very cool.
Be sure to keep this place secret from Sarah Palin
Will do. Of course, I don't know if she would go there because we have no troops there and she can't see it from her house.
What do beautiful Bessie and a beautiful bare-branched tree have in common? They are both far away from their element in the water of Bocas Del Toro!
Beautiful! Tim and I are thinking about taking our postponed honeymoon to Panama. I'm anxiously awaiting more pictures and stories to guide us in making plans!! :-)
