Feelin' happy
A modern, developed city, Panama City is unlike anywhere in Central America. Filled with interesting sites new and old, it's a great place to visit. Here's our list of top things to see, and an air guitar video tour you won't want to miss.
Feelin' happy
Top 7 Things that make Panama City ROCK:
7. CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP Imports (good wine for $2.89 and root beer for $1.39)

5. Enjoy views of the best Skyline in Central America

4. Panama Viejo - Ruins of the ancient Panama City that was destroyed by pirates in the 1600's

3. Old Town (Casco Antiguo) part of town with brick roads & charming buildings - See a virtual tour here: http://www.onourownpath.com/map/virtual-tour-casco-antiguo-panama-city-panama/9

2. Ships, Ships & Sailboats going through the Panama Canal - more about it from Kyle & "Sarah Palin"

1. Our super rockin' AIR GUITAR TOUR!!! Kudos to Van Halen for his tune, Panama. (Thanks to YouTube sucking, they took downt the video in order to protect Van Halen. Boooo!!!)

I´m blowing air kisses in appreciation. ;) Yeah, dancing around town was a nice break from reality.
I think I´ve watched this atleast 10+ during the making of it, and I still laugh hysterically everytime.
Very cool but don't quit your day jobs.
actually, some crazy pipedream has me wanting this to lead to a replacement for a day job... there must be a talent scout somewhere looking for this sort of thing, right??
actually, we have quit our day jobs....
oh my....i was laughing outloud the whole time, what an interesting way to walk us.... i mean air guitar us through the city!!
yeah, we´ve been singing this song pretty much for weeks because we knew we were coming to Panama, and it dawned on us an air guitar montage was in store. hugs!
That was incredible! Glad to see you haven't lost it!
I might go to bed before 10 but I can still rock. ;)
Outstanding!!! My performance & backstage selves want to know how-the-heck you managed this fantastic musical feat & treat?! Clever! Clever! Clever! KUDOS!!
one word: embarassment. :)
Great video :) ......you possibly need to add the tag line that "no musicians or air guitars were injured during the making of this video." I especially liked Bessie's appearance on the flight of stairs and Kyle's stylish enthusiasm!
maybe like the karaoke video, you could contact some talent scouts for us. The only risk of injury really is to our egos. When re-entering the workforce [someday], I'll be sure not to give this url before I get a job offer. ;)
u already know i think this video is sooo funny but i had to come back here to watch it and tell u again =D u guys crack me up!
ok i'm still laughin cuz i just read kyles reply to
"Very cool but don't quit your day jobs." by Den & Sue
too funny =D
That was three+ minutes of constant laughing, and a lot of "no WAY!"s. Leave it to you two. AND I feel like I've now seen a lot more of Panama City. Classic shots: the long shot of Bessie crossing the street, Kyle in the ruins, (st)air guitar, and of course, the final shot of the two of you. I don't think there's any way you could have made this look any more like a cheesy '80s metal video. And yes, still laughing about Kyle's deadpan "day jobs" response. ...I miss you guys!
SUCCESS = "I don't think there's any way you could have made this look any more like a cheesy '80s metal video."
Sweeeet! Miss you too!!!
P.S. One of the things I couldn't stop laughing about was thinking of you guys doing this in the middle of a nice, quiet, peaceful city. It's really funny to watch bits of it with the sound muted.
Funny part was that I totally made metal rock noises while working my guitar. You can see my mouth move sometime. Kyle made me mute my mad strumming, it's probably rather better that way.
Oh, and tons of people gave us crazy looks, smiles, and thumbs up. Especially in the mall scenes, we had a number of on-lookers. And as Kyle does the street scene, the driver in the taxi right behind him is giving a peace sign...
Surprisingly, people are pretty accepting of random white people acting like they are rocking out on a guitar in the middle of historical places. Sometimes as a foreigner, you can get away with a lot :)
Oh wow. I LOVE THIS! Do it again!!!!!!
Beautiful photos and the rockin' video must have taken hours to make all over town! Very well done, vagabonds!
Hey you two!! I've just arrived back to Washington DC from Panama City. Relaunch into my daily job blows but I have to tell you, watching your Panama video had me in tears! So very funny! Totally enjoyed our time with you. Michael and I had an inside running joke: Whenever we needed to make a decision on what to do, we would say to each other "What would the Crums do?" or "WWTCD"! Safe travels and PLEASE do not hesitate to couch surf at my place in Washington DC or Los Angeles! You guys are awesome!! I will never forget our stay in Tayrona!! Cheers, Liza
WWTCD! is amazing! Hope the rest of your trip was great. Thanks for keeping the computers running for us. :)
OH MY GOSH!!! I have watch this twice now because Jim heard me laughing so hard I had to replay it again. This tops the karaoke video by far! I think you need to send it to Van Halen and it needs to replace whatever corny video for this song they already have. OR this can be the new tourism video for Panama City.
by Kristine at October 10, 2008 11:07 AMJim says this is definitely better than watching the stock market tank! :)
Thank you for the HUGE laugh today! This video totally ROCKED!!
