Feelin' excited

Well atleast working on Christmas Eve turned out to be a day of parties for the kids.  The kids sang songs and Kyle dressed up like Santa.

I gave all my kindergartners candy canes, and they actually said "ick - spicy!"  A few of them liked it, but others actually spit it out!  That'd never happen back home!

Well, Santa Kyle and I are headed to Malapascua, Philippines for the week.  When you can't head home for the holidays, at least head for the beach.  Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, & Happy New Year!!!!!

Don't be shy, tell us "hi"

it was pretty funny. I think they said spicy for the lack of a better word in English. They say the same thing about mint toothpaste.

I like that you call a candy cane a finer thing in life - I had a friend bring those special from the States!!

I am surprised you were even able to find a Santa suit there. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Wonder where you will be next Christmas. Last Christmas you had no idea you would be in Korea. Good to see both of you.

You're exactly right we had no idea we'd be here - life's fun that way. :) It would take something major to not be in the States at least for a visit for next Christmas. 2 Christmases away was enought! :)

Well....Susan and i were talking about booking a santa for next Christmas but I think we have found him!!! Put the date on your calendar santa. You might be able to negotiate your pay. It is rainy and probalby going to snow here so think of us as you are on the beach.

As "cruel" as the American educational system can be....at least we NEVER had to work on Christmas eve! It appears Christmas in schools is universal....dress up, costumed school singing programs, and a visit by Santa.....although the Santas where I worked tended to be a bit plumper and they NEVER would have been allowed to hug the teacher!
