Feelin' excited
When I say eat like a king, I mean literally. There are numerous restaurants where diners can eat typical king's court food. With our friend Evan in town and our friend Jinny driving/interpreting, we decided to try out the culinary life of Korean royalty.
Feelin' excited

The meal itself was 16 different plates, I think. (I can't remember...they just kept on coming) All of them were different and delicious in their own way. I don't remember what all of them are, but I did caption the ones that I do remember.

It's a little bit like the sweet and sour version of Lucky Charms!

Horseradish flavored jellyfish

Slow cooked pork

Pumpking something

Tofu with yummy-ness on top

Salad with almonds on top

Some sort of cold salad, I think. The yellow stuff is just dressing.

Salmon salad

Mushroom soup

Meatballs wrapped in rice

Fish cooked in awesome sauce

Rice cakes wrapped in a buckwheat crepe

Desert: Rice soup (left) and a digestive tea

Good call. I updated the descriptions based on your memory which is better than mine.
I kind of want to go back there to eat...
Oh my! I've been to meals like this...which I actually sort of hate in a way because there is no way to walk away from the table and not be in pain from trying to eat even a little bit of everything. Which isn't to say that I don't keep going back. Oh schadenfreude...what would I do without you?
Can't beat it for a $30 meal. Someday, I'm going to try the $120 set.
Royal and wonderful! I guess my favorites would be the pork and pumpkin somethings, but the tofu looks super also. Thanks for the pefect photos!!!
This restaurant gets an A+ for presentation! Gorgeous photos. However, in my humble opinion, there is no way that you could ever "doll up" jellyfish enough to make it palatable.
I think the "sweet potato" thing was actually pumpkin, the "I don't remember" was some sort of fish, and the "scallions wrapped in...something" were rice cakes wrapped in a buckwheat crepe. I get so hungry looking at those photos...
