Everything went smoothly picking them up and paying for them, especially since they only cost $50 apiece. Since we were already far from home, we decided to take a spin on our new wheels down the Han River. For those of you who don't know, the Han river goes right through the middle of Seoul and it is a pretty major waterway, especially now, as it has been raining a lot.

The biking on the Han is about as pleasant as it gets in Seoul. In many ways, it compares to biking along Lake Michigan in Chicago: it's more like a bike highway than a relaxing bike path. You need to look over your shoulder before passing and generally be on the look out for stray animals/kids/balls that might come flying at you at any moment.
All things considered for one of the largest cities in the world, it is a pretty nice path. We were able to stop and smell the flowers for a little bit and even get in a more complete workout on the free gym equipment on the side of the path.

Here are some more pictures from our bike journey along the river:

Some people leave their bikes for us to take nice photos, I think

Local fisherman (I hope he doesn't eat the fish); port-o-potties at the intersection of 2 trails, underneath an overpass

We're silly and adventurous, computer geeks and yoga peeps.
