Fanta jello drink in Korea

The first time I bought this, I had no idea what I was getting and almost threw the whole drink away.  I was expecting some kind of soda, but instead, some clumpy jello stuff came out instead.  I thought I was drinking the soda version of curdled milk.  Fortunately, it was explained to me that it was supposed to be this way.  I accepted it and grudginly finished off the rest of the contents of the can, swearing that once was enough.

But then something funny happened.  Looking for something to drink in a convenience store, I saw the same stuff again and decided to try it once more.  And now, I like it!

Expectations are a funny thing.  When I expected to get a soda, I hated it.  When I knew what it was and knew what I was going to get, I liked it.

I doubt that this will ever become a fad in the States (unless we get Bill Cosby to do some commercials for it), so I'll have to be one of those things that I can only enjoy here.

Don't be shy, tell us "hi"

I see someone using these for jello shots in the near future...

I like that the sound effect is hundle hundle. it makes it all the more absurd.

Ah yes Hundle Hundle. I know it well. It's what you get when you try to eat a jello mold which hasn't quite had enough time to set in the frige. I'm glad you like it. It is the perfect beverage with slimy seafood in cold sauces. Actually it could be used as a sauce or dip for any crunchy snack food if you just pour it into a bowl! Much healthier than all of the beer you were drinking in Japan! Hundle Hundle salsa! ..... :>)......

Most curious!! How do you consume it? Lumps through the pop top opening? Poured into a glass? Does it come in many flavors? Seeing that it was Fanta, it was easy to assume that it was traditional soda as Fanta is a common soda brand in the U.S. Very interesting.
