There are 2 times a year when Korean children usually wear hanbok, the traditional outfit of Korea: Chuseok and the Lunar New Year. Fortunately, Chuseok just passed so we snapped a lot of good photos of kids being kids in hanbock. Enjoy!
These are my favorite. Love them. Thanks for sending.

Happy children in magnificent costumes! So what do they wear when they get dressed up?!

Pretty cool traditional outfits, huh! I can't really think of an American equivalent. When they get dressed up they look pretty adorable in fluffy princess type dresses and boys in dress coats. There's one boy in school that wore suspenders and a red bow tie for his birthday. :)

What gorgeous children and the hanboks are so beautifully colorful. How did they manage to keep the outfits clean on an active school day? It is good to see that they are more comfortable with being photographed than they were in your original posts.

My class is a little more photogenic than 6 months ago, but still a bit uncooperative. Most kids in the rest of the school love to be photographed though!
